KitArchive

KitArchive is a football-shirt collection archive. Everything you catalogue — teams, kits, the shirts you own, wishlist entries, purchase details, and your preferences — is stored locally on your device. The app has no user accounts and operates without a backend server.

Data Storage

All data is stored on your device in a local SQLite database. This includes catalogue entries (teams, seasons, kits), your collection items (condition, edition, back printing, purchase date, seller, and price if you record them), wishlist entries, and app preferences such as language and favorite teams. This data never leaves your device, though it may be included in your device's automatic backups (e.g. iCloud or Google backup).

Photos

Photos you attach to shirts or kits — taken with the camera or chosen from your photo library — are copied into the app's private storage on your device. Camera and photo-library permissions are used only for this purpose, only when you initiate it, and photos are never uploaded anywhere.

Web Image Search

When you choose "Find image on the web", the app opens a Google image search inside an in-app browser so you can pick a reference image. That browsing session is subject to Google's privacy policy; KitArchive itself sends nothing beyond the search query you see, and the image you pick is downloaded and stored locally on your device.

Home-Screen Widget

The iOS widget shows your per-team collection progress. Its data is shared with the widget through a private App Group container on your device and is never transmitted externally.

Third-Party Services

KitArchive does not use analytics, advertising, crash reporting, or tracking services of any kind.

Data Deletion

You can delete individual shirts, photos, or catalogue entries at any time in the app; deleting an item also removes its stored photo files. Uninstalling the app permanently removes all data from your device.

Changes to This Policy

If a future version of the app changes how data is handled, this policy will be updated and the date above revised before that version ships.
